Investigate some everyday items such as sand, fabrics, and kitchen powders through the magnified view of a microscope. Feel free to bring your own specimens from home or look at things collected from the grounds of Carpenter Nature Center. Bring water shoes to collect aquatic critters from the wetland to observe under the microscopes. Several field microscopes will be available for hands-on activities, led by microscopy experts from the Minnesota Microscopy Society.
